The Generic Clinical Decision Support Architecture (G-CDSA) is an architectural framework, designed to facilitate the design and implementation of Clinical Decision Support Systems, developed at the PRECISE Center at the University of Pennsylvania. These systems are facilitated by the emerging power of Cyber Physical Systems (CPS), as physical devices and sensors can collect information across a network and deliver it to a CDSS application.

The G-CDSA project provides a modular framework for the development of CDSSs, which will promote rapid prototyping, isolation, and reuse of common components. A uniform architecture will also facilitate implementation of CDSSs as applications running on an interoperable middleware like MIDAS.
